The Test of Faith

The Test of Faith

The hardest test of life is the grueling test of faith.
I just want to take this time to thank each and every person
who continues to go on with a smile on your face (as much as possible),
Despite what situations life may present you with. It is very simple to get nowhere at all. All you have to do is simply give up.
It is hard to stand back up when you've been pushed down.
It is hard to believe in hope when sorrow and pain try so very hard to convince you it doesn’t exist.
It is hard to love when life tells you, you have every reason to hate.
It is hard to be happy and joyful when life reminds you every minute of every day of all the reasons you have to cry.
People may tell you you’re foolish if you believe in hope.
People may consider you weak when your heart is humble. Sometimes you may call yourself foolish, because it seems that all your faith and all your believing in hope has only made you an easier target for life’s misfortune.
Your faith to stand again and not surrender to the grief life has given you places you among the strongest and most amazing heroes to ever grace this world.
You are an inspiration to me.
You have taught me what true strength is.
Thank you.

And to the Friend who is at the end of their rope, you are not alone.
Sorrow happens at some point in time to every single person.
Life has its hard times, some of which are hard to understand, hard to survive, hard to move on from.
Do not lose sight of hope.
Despite all of the hard times you’ve gone through, despite all of the mistakes you’ve made, despite all of the things other people have said and done, despite the many times you’ve stumbled, despite all of the grief and heartache—
you’re still standing.
You’re still living.
You have a purpose, and you have an opportunity to do great things in this world.
It is hard at times, but it is the hard times in life that will teach us how to be strong and how to endure the toughest obstacles. Friend, you can make it and you will make it.

Prayer VS Meditation

Let us study the nature of Prayer.
So long as we recite a Mantra, our mind cannot become vacant. So long as we keep desires in mind, it cannot be vacated. Then it cannot become a Prayer.
FOR MEDITATION, WE SHOULD NOT DEPEND ON MIND AT ALL. WE SHOULD NOT CONCENTRATE ON ANY OBJECT. WE SHOULD BECOME TOTAL AND ABSTRACT
If we contemplate on the Self, it will become ‘TAPAS’ a Penance. If we can link all the three together(Mind ,Body ,Self), it will become YOGA.
If we forget all the three and enter into nothingness, with no desire, no request, no contemplation, it will be PRAYER. In Prayer, we progress very slowly.
There will not be any request in meditation not even an aspiration, no goal even. THAT WILL BE THE METHOD TO EXPLORE DIVINITY.
YOGA IS NOT SO EASY AS IT SEEM TO BE. Our preparedness for Higher Journey becomes the first step in Yoga. THE LEAP INTO NOTHINGNESS BECOMES MEDITATION. The ‘LEAP’ activity becomes a real Prayer. WE MUST BE ABLE TO IGNORE THE MIND, TO VACATE THE MIND WE HAVE TO BYPASS THE THOUGHTS. All our desires to be cut short. Then only we can find entry into the Self. That would be the last step in Prayer. That happens when we sacrifice the body, mind and Soul. That is dedication to Brahman. Then the individual Self will come to tune with the cosmic soul. IT IS NOT EASY TO CROSS THE STAGES AND REACH THE NIL, NONE, NOUGHT LEVELS.

Prayer

WHAT is the meaning of this prayer?
WHOM we are praying and for what purpose?

First, WE SHOULD ACCEPT THAT THERE ARE DEFECTS IN MAN. Owing to those defects we are unable to achieve what all we could. ParaBrahman EXPECTED THAT MAN SHOULD BE PURE AND PERFECT. MAN SHOULD ONE DAY RISE TO THE LEVEL OF BRAHMAN AND ATTAIN PHYSICAL IMMORTALITY.
EVERY ONE of us wants to attain MOKSHA. WHAT EXACTLY IS MOKSHA?
To reach a state of NO BIRTH and NO DEATH. People call that state by different names.
WHO IS GOING TO BIRTH?
WHO IS GOING TO DIE?
IS IT THE SOUL?
The Soul comes to birth. It is sad that soul never dies. The Soul involves in the cycle of births and deaths, yet the Soul has no death, Wonderful!
If it is a physical body, the physical particles assemble and dissemble in the time of birth and death. Nothing dies in that process.
BEFORE BIRTH, A PHYSICAL BODY IS FORMED FOR THE SOUL TO RESIDE. THE SOUL BRINGS PRANA ALONG WITH IT FOR ITS SUPPORT. WHEN THE SOUL VACATES THE HOUSE (BODY) THE PRANA RECEDES.
If a Soul has to reach the state NO-BIRTH, it should become perfect. MAN, WHILE ALIVE SHOULD HELP THE SOUL IN ATTAINING PERFECTION. That is what ATTAINMENT MEANS. That may be MOKSHA in general.
A perfect Soul would definitely reach Brahman and be at one with the Origin. So, the purpose of human life seem to be RECTIFICATION & PERFECTION.`
IF WE ARE FULLY PREPARED, BRAHMAN WILL DO THAT WORK. MASTER WILL DO THAT WORK AS THE SOLE REPRESENTATIVE OF BRAHMAN.
WE must not be stubborn or adamant. We must submit and surrender to the Master. Then rectification work becomes possible. The rectification work will be done on three planes –
Physical
Mental &
Spiritual Planes simultaneously.
Our prayer indicates surrender to Master Principle, Co-operation with Master’s work. We need not cry in Mikes.

SURRENDER SHOULD BE SILENT.
IT RESEMBLES PURE LOVE.

Prayer VS Meditation

Prayer VS Meditation

Prayer is a beautiful phenomena. It is in Man’s nature. Man begins his life journey with a silent prayer and ends his journey in silent prayer. Both the prayers are unheard. PRAYER ITSELF IS UNHEARD. IT IS ALWAYS SILENT IN THE HEART.
Take any race, any religion, any sect. Every person prays for something. PRAYER IS SOMETHING IN NOTHINGNESS. PRAYER IS THE GATEWAY TO HEART’S SILENCE. Worship is the outer form of Prayer. Worship desires something to be fulfilled. Once it is fully filled, then it becomes a prayer. In India prayer is paying tributes to god, expressing our gratitude to god for what all he did for us. That concept is beautiful. We love our parents for giving birth to us. We love god for allowing us to live in this world.
Some people transform prayer into love.
Some others reform love into prayer.
Some instead of praying to god fill their hearts with love and god.
Some instead of loving others reserve their love for god.
There is a small section in the society who mix love with prayer. WHEN WE MIX LOVE WITH PRAYER IT WILL BECOME MEDITATION. Meditation can easily be tagged with Yoga. In course of time, Yoga and Meditation became synonyms. YOGA HAS BECOME THE PATH FOR SELF-REALIZATION. MEDITATION HAS BECOME A VEHICLE FOR HIGHER INTELLIGENCE. The difference between the two is very little and very subtle. The real difference lies in our approach, not in concept.
PRAYER is multi dimensional.
MEDITATION is for multi purpose.
Prayer is three fold -Vocal, Meditative and Contemplative.
Some devotees daily visit a temple of their choice and show their gratitude towards God.
A few people, a little bit educated, praise a God or Goddess with thousand names.
Very few people spend their precious time in Meditation. They call it ANUSTANA. That Anustana should NOT BE ritualistic. It should be done in prayerful mood, with heart felt reverence.
Many people keep a picture of a God and do Puja. Most of the rituals help man to keep in a righteous way, to lead a moral life. Nothing wrong in it. It helps social relations. HOW MUCH THEY TURN SPIRITUAL? Nobody knows.
YOGA & MEDITATION do not require any rituals. THEY ARE TOTALLY SPIRITUAL, NON-RITUALS. ONLY SUCH MEDITATION DRIVES TOWARDS SPIRITUAL ENLIGHTENMENT. Rectification of any Mantra makes mind Strand. It does not allow the mind to become steady and still. It does not allow us to enter into silence. THE PURPOSE OF YOGA & MEDITATION IS TO STILL THE MIND, TO MAKE THE MIND ABSENT TO OVERCOME THOUGHTS AND BYPASS THE MIND’S ZONE. So long as we are tied up with Mantra or thought, we cannot succeed in Yoga. THE REAL PRAYER IS TO BECOME SILENT. Our being should drop in silence. EVEN A THOUGHT OF GOD HAS NO PLACE IN PRAYER.
